Alex Shinohara

I was in Europe since December, when Covid 19 started there.
I returned to New York City in June.
Since the last three years, I have been spending half my time working in a studio located in Brooklyn, and a house in the country near the Hudson River.
Recently I have been working with watercolor and paper.
I have been combining drawing and painting, with a narrative, at times, since I was a child.
This writing is based on an image I had, of a voice, from a radio, in a parallel world.

Opposed, language codes,
cinematic, automation says it's the new automatic,
mirror was practical, until they cracked it,
static acting, the antennas harassing,
signals watched, broken parts. . .
